Hey there! My name is Borodi Bogdan, but my closest friends call me Bob. I am a 19-year-old student from Bistrita, Romania passionate about tech.
My journey into programming began during high school, sparking a fire within me for all things tech.
The first language programming i have ever used was C++, during informatics classes in high school. Since then, I explored several languages and technologies like C#, Python, 80x86 Assembly, React and so on.
Outside of coding, I'm passionate about sports and fitness. Music also holds a special place in my heart.
I completed my secondary education at National College Liviu Rebreanu - Bistrița, where I distinguished myself with exceptional results, particularly in the field of informatics.
My academic performance and disciplined approach were recognized through a scholarship from CJ Bistrița-Năsăud, underscoring my commitment to excellence.
Currently, I am enrolled at Babeș-Bolyai University (BBU) in Cluj-Napoca, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
Over the past three years, I have earned three medals in the prestigious National Olympiad of Informatics, showcasing my proficiency and expertise in the discipline.
Furthermore, I am deeply committed to sharing my knowledge and expertise with others. I am currently serving as a mentor and educator for Z-builders, where I teach students how to code in C++ as well as fundamental data structures and algorithms.
I'm involved in PbInfo, Romania's top problem-solving platform. Besides solving problems, I also create new ones. I've designed tests and solutions that were used of over 100 students.

Stock Pulse
Developed a real-time stock watchlist application enabling users to track live stock data, manage portfolios, and securely share them with others, featuring strong authentication and session management.
Implemented key features including dynamic analytics integration, portfolio sharing, and efficient data management using RESTful APIs, achieving seamless user interaction and a 98+ Google Lighthouse performance score.
Local Movie Database
Designed an interactive learning application for high school students and integrated various learning modules with adaptivecontent.
Successfully increased student understanding of complex algorithms by over 30%.

An app built using C# and and SQL for the database.
The app is a learning platform where users can create an account, log in, see the lessons and some animations designed to help them understand the concepts.
The app has an admin mode where the admin can add, delete or update the lessons. The source code is on GitHub.
SoftOpia
A website build with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Nunjucks.
It's a website which presents a company that offers software development services.
The website is responsive and has a modern design. It has a contact form and a blog section. The blog section is dynamic and the articles are stored in a MD file. The website is hosted on Netlify
Math Universe
A Java game made using the Greenfoot framework for a national Greenfoot contest in Romania with Mogovan Jonathan.
The game has four universes: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. The player must solve math question in order to win, after the game has ended, on the screen will be displayed the missed questions and the accuaracy.
The game has a tutorial and the player can choose it's character.
